Perform Layaway

Click the ‘Layaway’ icon in the middle of the screen.

This box will show up below the icons.

You can search using several different fields but mostly likely you’ll want to use customer name. Enter a last name and you can press enter on your keyboard and AlphaPawn will search for the name. You can click the ‘Select’ button or just click the ‘Next’ button on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

The first option is to ‘Place existing item from inventory on layaway’. You can select the item three different way; by stock number, by description, and by category. If the item is not in inventory you have two options. Use ‘Place item not in inventory on layaway’ and enter specifics about the item or click ‘Add Blank Record’ and enter a description.

Layaway ‘Add Blank Record’ is locked! I can’t add an item.
