After 2 years of demos and searching I have found the software that the Pawn industry deserves. I just installed Alpha Pawn and WOW! It is all there. If you have been looking or having issues with your current software this is the solution.

It is a true windows software that is as solid as a rock. The reports look like my accountant prepared them. The interface is clean and fast. I opted for local data storage with nightly off-site backups all automated. Leads on line is also automated.

I probably sound like I own part of the company, but if you have been looking through the options you understand why I am so excited about this software. I would be willing to say that within the next few years 90% of the serious pawn shops will run on Alpha Pawn.

Oh and how about customer service with a smile, these guys are happy to help, most customer service people I have talked to in this field treat you like you are a burden. I have used a software system for almost eight years to operate my relatively active pawn shop. For almost seven years I have been searching for a more complete and fully supported software system with integrated sales and reports. Alpha Pawn was recommended to me in 2007. I am now using Alpha Pawn exclusively. Our past data was successfully merged into the new program. We no longer suffer from frozen screens and lost data. Personnel at Alpha Pawn are eager to assist in customizing and developing their software. The transition to a new program is never easy, but the Alpha Pawn personnel has helped us over the phone and traveled here spending many days making sure everyone was trained properly. They upgraded our printers, label makers, and even installed signature pads. Our back-up and Leads On Line is now done automatically. There is no end to the features offered by this software and the Alpha Pawn team.

I would highly recommend the team at Alpha Pawn and their software to anyone wishing to improve their current operating system.

I work for the company that initially commissioned the Alpha Pawn program. Until November 1, 2007, we used an antiquated DOS-based Point-of-Sale system at all five of our locations. Due to previous system failure, on November 1st we implemented the new Alpha Pawn system exclusively. Changing to a new POS system is always a challenge but the Alpha Pawn team ensured that the transition was smooth. The support team was on site to assist with the implementation of the software. They transferred a highly detailed 24-year old database into the new system without any data loss. One of the best aspects of the Alpha Pawn system is the user interface. It’s quite intuitive which enabled the employees to acclimate to the system quickly. Although some of our management team had used the software and were familiar with the program, within several hours, all staff members were effectively using the system.

Alpha Pawn utilizes a report generator with customizable reports for each individual store. Our company has been in business for almost 30 years and the ability to customize the reports has eased the transition for our auditor and accountant as they can generate reports in Alpha Pawn that are similarly formatted to the reports that they are used to using. As the financial staff quickly realized, they have the ability to change the report format and add information that permits them to complete tasks more efficiently. Customizing reports allows for easy analysis of the strengths and weaknesses within the business and it is easy to utilize those reports to set long-term goals for the business to work towards.

As I learn the Alpha Pawn system, I have been quite impressed with its depth. The many shortcut keys allow for extremely fast access to many of the most common features used. There are so many ways to search the database that very little information is needed to find any item or customer data. I can’t say enough for the way Alpha Pawn was implemented at our site. The Alpha Pawn staff is both competent and friendly. Their technical support is capable of talking to people on a level that is understood by everyone. Alpha Pawn’s ability to implement their system so quickly after the old system crashed not only shows that they are capable but that they are driven to ensure that their clients are pleased with how the system was customized to the business needs.

I would highly recommend Alpha Pawn to any company who wishes to implement a secure and customizable POS system supported by a highly competent team.
